Removing a student disables login, revokes keys and sessions, and preserves job history. Regenerating a key invalidates earlier key files; the student downloads the replacement in their Python app.

Automatic VISA discovery

Start the Python relay on the instrument PC. Scanned USB VISA instruments register here automatically with their device ID and PC information. No pairing code is required.

Students use their personal key to connect to an available instrument. You can restrict student access or revoke an instrument above. A new instrument stays offline until its PC starts polling.

Student → server → instrument PC. Metadata only: keys, passwords and measurement contents are excluded.

Administration log

A timeout does not cancel a physical operation. Review uncertain jobs before retrying; release the hold from the Devices tab only after inspecting the instrument PC.

Publish code downloads

Upload the student application and device software for polytechtours.com. A successful upload immediately replaces the public download.
